With so many grey wet days so far this year I have been happy to be in virtual lock down in the studio, no temptation to be out doing as much gardening or walking in these stormy conditions! As a result there has been lots of new work coming together, new millinery pieces and also lots of porcelain and wire work, this weekend should see the first firing up of my new kiln, fingers crossed!
One lovely distraction that has tempted me out of the studio has been visiting Kensington and Chelsea College last week to talk to the millinery students, really enjoyed my visit, and not just because I got to catch up with friends over staff lunch! fascinating to see the projects the students are working on and I look forward to seeing the finished pieces. Looking forward to returning to teach two one-day masterclasses at KCC this month, if you are interested in joining me here is the link, www.kcc.ac.uk/fashion-and-millinery/millinery
